CRIMINOLOGICAL ASPECTS AND PREVENTION OF DRUG CRIME

Abstract

The article examines drug crime prevention measures in the context of the reorganization of law enforcement agencies. Statistical data on drug crime in recent years are provided. Drug addiction is considered as a social function and as a feature of the process and development of the modern social system. Selected groups of phenomena that are accompanied by drug addiction in society. Examples of Colombia and the USA are given. The main factors affecting the state of drug addiction in the country are analyzed. The main factors of combating drug crime are given. Proposed measures to ensure the implementation of the set tasks and measures to improve the socio-economic situation, and to eliminate the factors of personality deformation and interpersonal relations, and to promote the strengthening of the family, the creation of conditions for the formation of a full-fledged law enforcement system. From the psychological point of view, the methods of overcoming world disorder, at least in the imagination, avoiding the problems of the real world into a fictional world created according to one’s own scenario, the opportunity to take a person away from his or her somewhat unsuccessful life into the world of dreams, to experience feelings that cannot be replaced in reality, are finally a form a kind of protest against existence, which is perceived as meaningless. Proposed measures to prevent illegal drug trafficking and measures to detect and investigate crimes are given – preventive measures for prompt detection and investigation of crimes in the field of illegal drug trafficking. General and special ones are offered. Preventive measures. developments aimed at finding ways to improve the current legislation, reviewing the organizational principles and practices of state authorities in combating illegal drug trafficking are necessary.
