Abstract. This article analyzes the content of specific directions in volunteer activity and proposes to supplement legislatively established directions. It is noted that to improve the directions of volunteer activity, it is necessary to consider the following aspects: Conduct a thorough analysis of current social, economic, and environmental needs, which will help identify priority directions. It is important to define urgent and strategic tasks for better directing volunteer efforts. Partnership with organizations: Volunteer groups can increase their impact by collaborating with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other partners. This approach allows for pooling resources and using them more effectively. Development of volunteers’ skills involves providing volunteers with opportunities for professional and personal development, helping to attract and retain highly skilled participants. Specialized training and education can expand their knowledge and skills. Effective use of IT technologies: Utilizing modern technologies and internet resources can simplify the organization and coordination of volunteer projects. Social networks, fundraising platforms, and online tools can enhance communication and management efficiency. Organizing fundraisers for specific purposes, such as purchasing vehicles, night vision equipment, and drones for the needs of the Armed Forces in the fight against invaders, has become very common after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Transparency and openness of volunteer activities and their results. Once again, if, for example, volunteers organize fundraising, collecting items, or resources, a photo report on such results positively influences both the authority and trust in the volunteer and promotes greater interest from those involved. It is important to support open information exchange between volunteers, the public, and partners. Transparency of actions fosters trust and increases the level of support. The development of directions in volunteer activity is due to the need to counter armed aggression, overcome the consequences of war, contribute to the re covery and development of the country, and maintain social solidarity and civil unity in the conditions of military conflict.
