ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL PROVISION OF NATIONAL SECURITY

The article proposes a definition of administrative and legal provision of national security, considers its features in modern conditions. It has been established that the legal provision of national security in a broad sense covers the entire set of social and legal elements and the entire process of developing legally significant measures (means, techniques, methods) and their use in the practical activities of legal subjects in relation to the impact on the subject of legal regulation to achieve actual results in the practice of protection and protection of national security of the state. It is well-founded that the administrative-legal provision of national security is the activity of authorized subjects, which is carried out within the framework of a unified state policy in the field of national security, aimed at forming the administrative-legal basis for national security, and establishing a system of administrative-legal means (administratively – legal norms, legal relations, individual orders, etc.), with the help of which an effective, normative and organizational influence on social relations is achieved with the aim of their regulation, protection, development in accordance with the social needs of ensuring the national security of the country, creating and maintaining the necessary level of security about objects of state security. It has been established that national security is the protection of the vital interests of the individual, society and the state from external and internal threats, which is achieved by applying a system of measures of a political, economic, organizational, legal, military, ideological and other nature, adequate to threats to the vital interests of the individual and society and the state, which ensures their sustainable progressive development. The author comes to the conclusion that the provision of national security, personal security, public security and protection of public order should be carried out in the process of the unified activity of state authorities, local selfgovernment bodies and, above all, administrative and supervisory.
